JOB TITLE: QA Engineer L1

DESIGNATION: Software Engineer - Level 1

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Level 1 QAE, you will be responsible for

1. Understanding business requirements and defining test cases accordingly
2. Working on proper QA process and documentation.
3. Documenting and troubleshooting errors.
4. Communicating and coordinating between stakeholder groups
5. Participate in all aspects of SDLC to advocate quality
6. Write test cases based on business /technical requirements, use cases, and design documents.
7. Perform black box and white box testing and help coordinate the QA process by tracking defects, and managing release processes.
8. Develop and Execute Test scenarios and test cases.
9. Brainstorming with the software developers to determine quality assurance parameters.
10. Design and create suitable testing environments and test methodologies.
11. Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
12. Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or Software Engineering (We will consider candidates without degrees also, but you’ll have to convince us you are worth the time)
2. Experience in Software Quality Assurance (Tested Web and Mobile Apps).
3. Experience with Agile/Scrum development process
4. REST API testing

JOB TITLE: PHP Developer

DESIGNATION: Software Engineer - Level 1

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Level 1 Software Engineer, you will be responsible for

1. Design and implementation on of features on PHP and Laravel based web applications.
2. Design and development of WordPress and Moodle plugins.
3. Development of small to medium websites and web applications.
4. Debugging and identification of issues and bugs in web applications.
5. Writing efficient and testable code.
6. Writing and maintaining documentation where necessary.
7. Practicing and honing your craft of software development.

REQUIREMENTS

1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or Software Engineering (We will consider candidates without degrees also, but you’ll have to convince us you are worth the time)
2. Must have experience working with HTML, CSS and JS.
3. Must have experience with PHP.
4. Must know Git.
5. Must have experience in either WordPress, Moodle and Laravel. Ideally all three.
6. Knowledge or experience of deploying such applications is a huge plus.
